YEAR 2024/2025

CARNIVAL RACE

🎭🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️🎭

February 25th 2025

Last February 21st we celebrated our Carnival Race, (as our Polvorón Race was stolen😭😡) with lots of guests, what made our yards look quite busy all morning.

As in previous years, we welcomed our future students coming from Primary Schools "Montealegre" and "Blas Infante" as well as some participants coming from

IES "Elena García Armada", "Caballero Bonald", "Sofía" and "Coloma". We also had a symbolic representation from IES "Francisco Pacheco" in  Sanlúcar.

And all of them got some prize 🎁 in the Raffles 👏👏!

Although we had a bright morning, we could see some snowflakes ❄️❄️ ❄️❄️,  but the expected big snowfall turned out to be just a few of tiny snowflakes (some of them were not so small😅). Not to let us down, we had some clones, or made-in-china copies of our own Nieves ❄️, who will be surely  melting  💦 whenever the 🌞 shines ⛱️.

This year we didn't have any rollercoaster🎢, but we saw some 🚗🚗🚗Bumper Cars, with their typical 🎶incorporated. To make the vehicles fleet even more visible, there were some 🏍️🏍️, with their own mechanic🔧. They probably came straightaway from the Speed Circuit, respecting the signs 🚦and speed limit, as we saw them kindly speaking with some 👮‍♀️👮🏼‍♀️that patrolled the area.

There was a classical latin lady, who may have been Hypatia (but she was Greek, wasn't she?) and some other wise men: Séneca who came with a slow pace, to prevent any expectations, carryong his keyboard , his signing tray and his pick-up 🧿Archimedes, the one that stated that when you get into a bath full of water 🛁 it will overflow😄; and young Einstein, whom we hurried directly to the 🧬 and 🧪Department, just in case he needs a school to start his internship.

As the weather was fine (in spite of some toxicity ☢️), some people like the Addams Family also appeared, though they were at times orphaned as their father usually disappeared. We don't really kno why, as he counted on a good 🧭 in the group 🤔

Travelling through time, and probably having been invited by our race hosts (the Flintstones), some troglodites also had a great morning, but they were really shocked that in the very 21st Century waste is thrown anywhere. Above all, when they saw the big bins 🗑️ distributed in the yards 🤬. Maybe plogging is only cool in social networks...

We saw an Outlaws Gang from American Wild West, but they were not a menace for the Indian  who was over there. Surely an Indian Chief, judging by her flashy feathers war bonnet...

There were many versions of minions, a huge 🐬that could dance sevillanas! and some butterflies 🦋 with very colourful wings!

In case there was any accident due to exhaustion, no problem: ZAMHO was there for any emergency. This service offered not only an open-heart operation ❤️ but also planting 🌱your garden.

Besides, we had an enormous ✉️, in which thieves  greeted us from the Seychelles🏝️! Maybe they used mail not to leave any clues about the 🌐 server. (Unfortunately, the letter box   didn't fit the size of the letter ☺️)

Thanks very much to all participants to make our

 Carnival Race

a real success.
