2º ESO visits Italy 'virtually' with Erasmus+ Project

A team of 2º ESO students "travelled" virtually, via Internet, to Ladispoli, a coast city near Rome.

From May 17th to 21st they were carrying out different online activities in English for 3 or 4 hours a day, together with Czech, Croatian and Italian students, who also belong to the Erasmus+ Project “Share Cultures – Compartiendo Culturas”.

This was a reschedule of the original programme due to Covid-19.

Some outstanding activities were: a guided virtual visit to Rome (Augmented Reality), to the Etruscan necropolis, a funnny game mixing students from different countries or a cooking masterclass from home, hosted by Italian students (many students cooked some pasta or pizza, but some of them dared to prepare "tiramisu").

The following teachers accompanied our students during the activities: Rosa Monge, Josemi Puyol, Paco García, Daniel Gallardo and Bruno David.

With this virtual immersion in the Italian culture we coped with the main aim of the project: to promote the cultural heritage of the countries taking part in it.

If Covid situation allows it, we hope we will be able to travel physically to Czech Republic and Croatia next year, as well as to host foreign students for a week in Jerez.
